We are two brothers who are fourth generation butchers and farmers and who have taken butchery to a different level. We run our butchers 'Ginger Butchers at New Close Farm' in the centre of the busy tourist town of Bakewell and have been outside catering for 10 years. We are growing the outside catering business with every event, and cater for small private garden parties of 15 people to large corporate events of 2,000 people and everything in between.
We keep our own Gloucester Old Spot and Welsh X pigs at New Close Farm amongst our native breeds of cattle and Texel X Sheep on the outskirts of Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District.
Having the butchers and livestock connection we know that what we are cooking is only the very best, local produce. We are very creative and adventurous so don't be shy to throw some whacky ideas at us!!
